We are a non-profit organization based on Vancouver Island that supports collaboration in natural resource management with a process-focused, outcome-oriented approach.

We work to increase collaboration in Canadian natural resource management so that communities, Indigenous nations, governments, industry, and environmental stewards are equipped with the processes, tools, and skills needed to work together effectively.

We design and lead processes to help people through difficult problems to find durable solutions that reflect a broad range of values. With a focus on process that delivers tangible outcomes, we work to build trust through meaningful collaboration to enable futures that may not have otherwise been possible.

About Us

Our principles & approach to success

  • Support parties in building trust and productive relationships by ensuring all voices are heard and promoting compassion, empathy, and respect.

  • Begin by working on topics where people share a common objective. Learn how to find success with these and scale to further challenges

  • Acknowledge the interconnection of humans and their environment by involving a range of participants that bring Indigenous, local, and scientific knowledge to the table.

  • Co-develop processes that guide the group towards their defined outcomes. Hold the trust of all parties, allowing participants to focus on contributing substance to the discussions.
